Taking inspiration from depictions of the Nativity in Byzantine Art, ‘What can I give him?’ reflects on femininity and the role of motherhood. It draws on the parallels of pain, hope, solitude and togetherness through the movement and verse of five women; Lucy Ascott, Kaila Holford, Kayla McClellan, Mylène Porte and Nena Robertson.
